Our definition of spam
We define spam as any commercial email sent to a recipient who has not given explicit, verifiable consent to receive it from the sender. The presence of an unsubscribe link does not legitimize spam.
Legal frameworks we enforce
We require customers to comply with applicable anti-spam laws including CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), GDPR (EU), PECR (UK), and Spam Act 2003 (AU). Where laws conflict, the strictest applies.
How we detect spam
We monitor: complaint rates from feedback loops, bounce rates, blocklist appearances, postmaster tools scores, content fingerprints against known spam, and reports from abuse@inbox.onesourcesoft.com.
Response
Suspected violations are reviewed within 24 hours. We may pause sending, suspend the account, require list cleansing, or terminate. Severe cases (phishing, malware, illegal content) trigger immediate termination.
Customer obligations
By using Inbox OSS, you certify that every recipient on your list has given explicit consent, that you maintain consent records, that your unsubscribe mechanism works within 10 business days, and that your From/Reply-To accurately identifies you.
Appeal
If your account is suspended, you may appeal to compliance@inbox.onesourcesoft.com. We respond to appeals within two business days.
