Senior Backend Engineer (Go)
Platform Remote · Global
Build and operate the core Go services that move billions of emails — the API, the dispatcher, the deliverability tooling. Ship code that handles real load with real money on the line.
What you'll do
- Design and ship new features in the central API and dispatcher.
- Operate the services you write — on-call rotation with one week every six.
- Improve performance and reliability of the existing platform under live load.
- Mentor mid-level engineers through code review and architectural input.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of backend experience, ideally with a year+ in Go.
- Hands-on with Postgres at scale, Redis, message queues.
- Comfortable being on-call for the systems you build.
- Strong written communication — we are async-first.
